A simple label that speaks volumes of the internationally held passion for the game, but it also hints of the powerful yet discrete inner force simply known as the spirit of the game.
No wars have ever been fought over Batdown, but it has been known to bring peace and harmony to peoples right across the globe. This is the power and promise of the game that is Batdown and once you have played it your life is unlikely to be the same again.
Evidence that Batdown is the oldest game in the world:
- Batdown invented the ball and then much later on prehistoric man made it more directional and called it a wheel.
- The word Batdown comes from the latin Batdown which has no literal translation, but it is believed to mean perfect game.
- One of the oldest riddles known to man is "what came first the Bat or the Batdown". Ancient greek philosophers were divided on this point.
- A tomb was uncovered in Africa that contained bones of a man arranged in a manner depicting a scene of the game. Thanks to modern computer imaging we are able to present this composite of what appears to be a Batdown batter.

The perfect history of the perfect game.
